Preparation Guidelines and Appointment Policies
To ensure a smooth and efficient service, please take note of the following prior to your appointment:

Arrive with freshly washed, dry hair and a makeup-free, moisturised face.

Duration of Services

Non-wedding hair and makeup appointments are typically completed within 2 hours.

Individual hair or makeup services usually take 1 hour.

If your non-wedding service exceeds the allotted time due to additional requests, an extra fee of £30 per hour may be charged.

A 20% surcharge will be applied to the total cost for bookings scheduled before 9am or on Sundays or bank holidays 

Bridal Styling Session

The Bridal Preview Styling Session is recommended 3–4 months before the wedding date.
To ensure a calm environment, we kindly ask that children are not present, and no more than one other adult accompanies you, unless otherwise agreed.
Session Details
Most hair and makeup styling sessions are completed within 3 hours.
If a session exceeds 2 hours for hair or makeup, or 3 hours for both, an additional fee of £30 per hour may be applied at our discretion.
Payment
At the end of your session, 25% of your total bridal costs must be paid. This non-refundable and non-transferable deposit can be paid in cash on the day.
If you are dissatisfied with the styling session the session fee remains payable.
Lashes
Lashes are included in the bride’s makeup or hair and makeup package.For other bridal party members receiving makeup or hair and makeup, there is an additional fee for lashes and their application. 

Pricing Policy

My prices reflect the value of my experience, the quality of my work, the range of products in my kit, and the level of service provided. They also account for time spent on travel, and administrative tasks.
I aim to accommodate most budgets where possible, provided this is communicated during your initial inquiry. Any discounts offered are at my discretion, and I kindly ask that you refrain from negotiating.

Cancellations Weddings
Wedding bookings are typically made well in advance, and late cancellations are difficult to fill. As such, the following conditions apply:
The deposit to secure your wedding date is non-refundable. Additionally, any pre wedding session fees are non-refundable, as this service will have already been provided.
If you cancel less than 12 weeks before the wedding date, 100% of the total wedding price will still be due.
If you have any concerns or complaints regarding your booking, please address them directly to Shen.
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel your booking, you will receive a full refund of all wedding day costs paid.

Cancellations special occasions 
All deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 12 weeks before the event date will require 50% of the total price to be paid.
Cancellations made less than 8 weeks before the event date will require 75% of the total price to be paid.
Cancellations made less than 6 weeks before the event date will require full payment of the total price.

Changes to Bookings 
Once your booking details are confirmed, the number of services cannot be reduced. By confirming your booking, you agree to the originally specified numbers, and the booking must be honoured as initially arranged. Any changes must be approved by Shen. 
Please notify me as soon as possible of any changes, including adjustments to location, dates, or times. It is the client’s responsibility to provide this information.
All changes must be confirmed in writing via email or through a telephone conversation.
If the number of services falls below the agreed or minimum number at the time of booking, the full price will still apply.
Adding additional people, accommodating larger groups, or early ceremony times may require an extra makeup artist and may incur additional charges.

Photography Policy
If time permits, I may take photographs during your appointment, which may be shared on social media or my website. Rest assured, no photos of wedding styling sessions or the wedding day will be posted on social media before the event.
I’m happy for your photographer to capture images of me at work, but I kindly request that such photos are credited.
Once you’ve received your professional photos, if you’re comfortable with me using them for my website, social media, or blog, please email a high-resolution copy to info@bridesoccasions.co.uk
If you prefer that professional or personal photos are not used please let me know in advance.
If I am exposed to any unsafe conditions or illegal behaviour at the event, I reserve the right to take appropriate action. Which may include leaving the event. In such cases I will not be obliged to refund any fees paid.
